For two days this June, the single track trails of Beebe Hill Forest in Austerlitz, NY will be filled with unicycle riders.
Off-road one-wheel enthusiasts will be gathering for the fourth annual Empire State Mountain Unicycle Festival, to ride the spectacular and scenic trails of New York State.
Over the past two decades, Muni, (mountain unicycling) has grown from an almost unheard-of phenomenon to a steadily growing recreational and sporting activity.
The trails at Beebe Hill State Forest feature both advanced and beginner trails for festival participants. The trails are built and m
aintained by the Columbia County Mountain Bike Alliance (CCMBA). CCMBA is very active and has made several trail additions since last year.  Camping is available at nearby campgrounds.
The festival is produced by a group of dedicated Columbia County unicycle riders—the Chatham Unicycle Club & the Hell on Wheel Gang.
